CBRSD DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION AND BELONGING STEERING COMMITTEE
Where belonging matters and all means all
The purpose of the Central Berkshire's DEIB Steering Committee is to serve as an advisory body to ensure we are intentionally moving toward creating diverse, inclusive, and equitable learning settings. We encourage all community members who are passionate about this work to participate. Our goals include:
* To facilitate community based learning that emphasizes culturally responsive practices.
* To develop common language around concepts that are relevant to this mission.
* To generate ideas and action steps around community practices that foster respect for differences of culture to include, race, ethnicity, gender and gender identity, age, religion, language, disability status, socioeconomic status, and geographic region.
* To ensure the elimination of barriers in order to provide access and opportunities to a high quality education for all.
